Beauty of South Korea

South Korea has a lot of beautiful cities which have become popular tourist attractions. Boryeong, a city in the South Chungcheong Province is located on the coast of the Yellow Sea. Transportation to and from the city is not a problem since it is connected to Seoul, the capital city of South Korea through the Gyeongbu Line railroad. It is the beaches of Boryeong that makes it a famous tourist spot where both locals and foreigners enjoy.

One beach in particular, Daecheon beach, has become one of the most popular beaches in the country because of its mud. Every year during the month of July, the Boryeong Mud Festival is held in this beach. It is said that the mud contains minerals which are good for the skin. Cosmetic benefits lure thousands of people annually as people from all walks of life and nationalities come together for fun in the mud.
