It was in the year 1995 when the boundaries of the city of Boryeong were mapped. This was the result of the merging of two cities: Boryeong-gun and Daecheon city. Today, the city is known as Boryeong where the wonderful mud of the Daecheon beach provides for tourists and locals a great place to have fun and experience a cosmetic sensation good for the skin.
